Keeping babies and children healthy has always been a passion for her. She graduated from St. Petersburg Pediatric Academy and practiced neonatology in St. Petersburg, Russia, for seven years. After her husband was invited as a Fulbright professor to the University of Missouri, their family immigrated to the United States. To practice medicine in the U.S., she completed a pediatrics residency and neonatology fellowship. Currently, she practices neonatology in Milwaukee. She and her husband have five children and five grandchildren. Through Infinitely More, she improves children’s health in rural Kenya by educating local clinics, tribal birth attendants, and young mothers at Mercy’s Light.
